Police Chief Caught Putting "Ku Klux Klan" Sign On Police Raincoat Says It Was A Joke, Retires

33-year veteran of the Sheffield Lake Police Department and Police Chief Anthony Campo retired Tuesday after Mayor Dennis Bring put him on administrative leave after Campo was caught on surveillance video printing and placing and sign reading the words “Ku Klux Klan” on a yellow police raincoat.

A moment after placing the sign a black police officer comes in to find it. According to Mayor Bring, Campo told him the sign was just a prank.
