2022 City of Rockport Kite Festival - A Camera Drone View of the Kites Flying #rockportkitefestival

This was the first year for the City of Rockport's Park Department to sponsor their Kite Festival at their Festival Grounds. We were invited by the Coastal Bend Flying Circus to join their event, not by flying kites, but by flying drones to capture video about this event. Admission was free and it was open to the general public.

This video shows the aerial view about 1 hour after the event was open to the public started. The winds were not real friendly to my camera drone (DJI Mavic 2 Pro), but it flew well enough for this video. Wind speeds were 14mph, gusting to 25mph during the flight.
