Early Christmas Arizona Trip 2021

This video, photos and adventures are from the trip Jo & I took to Arizona to spend an early Christmas with our daughter and her boyfriend. We had a fantastic time, and the weather was perfect for us North Dakotans as well.

This was the first time I have traveled with a drone (Mini 2) and Camera gear. I had heard that flying with Lipo batteries and going through TSA could be somewhat of an issue. I had everything in my carry-on bag and the only thing they ask was that I open or unzip the drone/camera bags and remove the computer and tablet from their bags. I had no issues, and everything worked out great. Side note, I had my Mini 2 batteries in the charging case and one camera battery in the cameras, as well as spare batteries loose in their perspective bags. This was also the first time flying a drone in and around mountains. I learned a lot of things and wish I would have done some things differently, live and learn, I guess. So that being said this video has nothing to do with drone technology, just having fun taking in the scenery from around the Phoenix AZ area. Hope you enjoy.
