I just happened to look at this armrest and thought, “I’ve got a sock that will cover that!” And yep - a nylon/hosiery sock too & voila! No more nasty armrest. Well, it’s covered & looks pretty uniform to the car as well so hey - I’m good with it for a while 😎.

Sure, I could remove the tape, try to repair the material (It’s torn), but this looks decent for now. And quick!

You could call it a hosiery hack 🤣. It don’t get much easier or cheaper! Just use a sock! Hosiery socks can be bought inexpensively too. I recycled some I was no longer using but still in my bureau.
