2022 City of Rockport Kite Festival Getting Started at 8AM - FPV Drone Video #rockportkitefestival

This was the first year for the City of Rockport's Park Department to sponsor their Kite Festival at their Festival Grounds. We were invited by the Coastal Bend Flying Circus to join their event, not by flying kites, but by flying drones to capture video about this event. Admission was free and it was open to the general public.

This video shows the organizers getting started and was flown about hours before the event opened at 10am. The winds were not real friendly to the drones, but this FPV drone was able to fly up to 65mph and it just didn't care what the winds thought about it. Wind speeds were 15mph, gusting to 28mph.
