A walk around Christchurch's botanic gardens first thing and then a lemonade in the Bunsen Cafe at the Arts Centre is just the ticket. My thoughts about yesterday and how the media shapes our opinion about certain people.

Brian Tamaki is more humble than you think and likable too. That's my opinion of meeting him. We know he's been lied about, and I found out the hard way of media morality.

I've decided the ward I'll run for councilor is Christchurch coastal, which is New Brighton and environs. Looking now to meet people from New Brighton area to hear their concerns of what needs fixing, their hopes and dreams for the area.

I haven't got all the answers and wouldn't try pulling the wool over people's eyes leaving them confused. What I will give is 100% to try changing things for the better of the people in that area. No frills, no nonsense nor fancy clichés or generic double speak created to impress and confuse all at the same time.

I think it's time for a new era of honesty & integrity in Christchurch.
