Kata and Kata Noi Beaches Phuket - Top 5 Beaches in Thailand

Kata and Kata Noi are in my mind in the top 5 beaches in all of Thailand. The combination of amazing sand, surrounding area and atmosphere make it a must see beach. I’ve stayed in the area many times and it’s always where I want to stay each time.

Kata Beach is a 1.5-km strip of golden sand and is considered one of the most popular beaches in Phuket due to its combination of beauty, facilities and activities. Hundreds of people come each day to soak up the sun and swim in the sea. Often busy but never crowded, this beach is pleasing in many ways.

Kata Noi Beach is a great place to relax and soak up the sun. At about 700 metres long, it's one of Phuket's smaller beaches. Soft sand, crystal clear water, and the lush green jungle backdrops are the main draws here. Kata Noi is on a dead-end road, so the only traffic you might encounter is if you're looking for a place to park your car.

Both beaches are located just south of Karon Beach and very easy to get to. In this video I give you an idea of what to expect if you visit here.
