Live as a Child of Light

Eph 4:30  Grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 
Eph 4:31  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 
Eph 4:32  And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. 

Verse 30; Two things. Grieve = Sadden, Shake His head, to do what you should not do. Quench = Don't do what The Holy Spirit is leading you to do?

Verse 31; The essence of this verse is to forgive everyone, you haven't forgiven if you still talk about it? You still harbor bitterness and you wish someone harm?

Verse 31; We are to love and forgive just as God loves and has forgiven us.

Eph 5:1  Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 
Eph 5:2  And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor. 

Verse 1-2; You are a child of God, so you must follow God, live according to His will. We are commanded to love everyone.

Love is not an emotion, love is a choice, “Well I just don't love him/her anymore”?

Eph 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 

You are a Child of Light a Child of The Day, an Ambassador of and for Jesus Christ. You represent God?

People we all fail everyday trying to live up to this calling, but we strive as if we could.

Our goal is not perfection because we will never achieve that while in this body.

So don't beat yourself up when you fall, get up dust yourself off and move on?

Our goal is to draw closer to God, just a little bit closer everyday.
