Today's Segue City Special rolls back in time to lush lounge music sounds of the Forties and Fifties with Nat King Cole and Linda Ronstadt with plenty of sweetener (strings) and Big Band sound. Besides it's Sunday so the lushness is perfectly in line with the morning and everything fits... Everything and everybody needs to calm way down anyway. We never knew so many people could have their hair on fire all at once for such trivial things these days... way too much social media and way too little social interaction....

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
