Concerto in D Major for Violin, Op. 35 (Tchaikovsky) & The Firebird (Stravinsky)

Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra performs a recital with music by two of the greatest Russian composers of all time: Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky and Ígor Stravinsky.

Conducted by Evandro Matté, artistic director of the symphony, the concert has the special participation of Chinese violinist based in the United States, Yang Liu, winner of the 12th International Tchaikovsky Competition, in Moscow.

The presentation was held in 2019 and shows that concert music is well represented in southern Brazil.
