Final Fantasy 4: How to grind for Soma Drop

I am unsure if this is the best way to hunt for Soma Drop. But its the one i know

Having "Treasure Hunter" augment is important. I put it on Edge since he seems like a guy who fits it.
And also be sure to have "Gil Farmer" augments, on all three if you got that many augments.

But use Sirens on floor 1 of Lair of the Father. And Dark Sage should show up. It can take some time though for the Soma Drop to show up. So you may waste somewhat of Sirens doing this. For me it took 12 i think of Sirens, in order for Soma Drop to come.

Alternatively you dont get lot of money... so there is that problem. So grinding for Black Tail by going to floor 2 and using Sirens there, where you get this mechanic monster. It will drop often axes, and sometimes black tail. So you can sell it for good chump of money. Do it once money for Sirens are dropping. My strategy for getting Soma Drops, but also grinding at same time.

Alternatively nr 2. You can sell Dry Ether it drops. Unsure the price of it. But if it sells well then thats also a strategy for getting more Sirens while grinding.

I have in total Four Blue, Green and Yellow Tails. And total of Three Black, Red and Pink Tails. So this is my excuse to mostly just hunt for Soma Drop. So that i can max out the stats of my characters.
