This orchid was not meant to be in my collection, but, when you get a free orchid with a purchase, thank you Lucke Orchideen, it is not only rare, but suddenly it becomes special. Dendrobium Christa Erdmann x thyrsiflorum was never an orchid that I would have added to my shopping cart, because of some of her quirks that I thought I could do without, but, now that Dendrobium Christa Erdmann x thyrsiflorum 'Willmington School' is in my collection and has finally bloomed, I have changed my mind, and recognize that... some orchids are meant to be in your collection, and Dendrobium Christa Erdmann x thyrsiflorum 'Willmington School' is a keeper, despite all the quirks!
