DIY Home: Replace DRAFT INDUCTION BLOWER for Furnace [119256-00 / ICP 1014341 JA]

This is a DIY for replacing the DRAFT INDUCTION BLOWER for your furnace. Blower is part number 119256-00 / ICP 1014341 JA and most of these blowers operate in some similar ways and installation should be similar. Furnaces are actually very simple. Was able to oil the motor to keep it going for a week until it stopped and seemed to seize up / turn too slow.

Saves a bunch of money to do it yourself.

Fasco seems to make all the OEM replacement draft induction blowers. These are available online for around $200. Just enter your part number from the sticker on your blower motor cover or the blower itself.

Heating repair companies quoted me $600 for the repair, including parts, and said it would take them a week also to order the part online because they don’t stock it. They told me to order the part myself and install it or call them back and they will install it.
