The special grand jury that has been hearing evidence in the criminal investigation of President Trump will expire at the end of the week and it will not be extended. Despite months of investigation the jury failed to find any evidence of crimes against him. And on other news from Trump, he has posted his first message on Truth Social announcing he is back.
The day after Musk took the reins Twitter saw its first big changes. Conservatives such as Ron DeSantis and President Trump's son Donald Trump Jr saw a dramatic increase in followers adding 100,000 in just one day.
The U.S. Commerce Department reported that first quarter GDP data unexpectedly contracted, falling 1.4%. The negative growth came as a surprise to many analysts.
