THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

IS REPEATING THE SAME THING HOPING FOR A DIFFERENT RESULT!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

As I was reading this passage of scripture from Jeremiah, I was reminded of what the saying is about the definition of insanity, and God is really burdening my heart on some things not just in my own life, but on things I'm seeing around me, and I wanted to share some things that are on my heart with you tonight. I want to start with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that you'll be challenged as well as encouraged by them. Please check out these questions below and see just what I mean.

What personal problem has you stumped and how are you tempted to respond in a sinful way?
What do you think Jesus might want you to do?

I'm gonna be honest right now and tell you that for me it's our finances. Every time I look at different things including our VISA bill, I get very frustrated. I keep having to tell myself these expenses are beyond my control, but I know that we're paying these things down to the best of our ability, and that's what is going to have to do for right now. It also reminds me of a very big mistake I made back in 2004, which has been taken care of, but it was a big nightmare, and I urge people to this day, to never ever take out any kind of payday loan when you're having trouble with your expenses.

What I'd like to do right now, is share some thoughts that God has put on my heart, from this passage of scripture from this morning, and I pray that what I say will speak to your heart, and that God will challenge you with whatever area of your life that you're making an idol. Please join me in this vlog and learn what it means to allow Jesus to carry you through whatever troubles you're experiencing, and not the idols that have you bound! 😊

So, as I close this post for tonight, I pray that you will not choose to do what Israel did and adding more idolatry and send to your life, when faced with difficult choices. Don't go doubling down on sinful choices that will get you into even more trouble, but choose to forsake and repent of those idols, and allow Christ complete control over whatever it is that you're dealing with. Remember the idols can't save you, but Jesus can!
