Gun Rights Are Women’s Right

The 2nd Amendment is about protection. It gives individuals the right to protect themselves against aggressors. If you are in danger, then you have the right to protect yourself. If you are a Mike Tyson like individual, then throwing a few punches could supply enough protection from an aggressor. But if you only weigh 100 pounds soaking wet, then you’ll probably need a weapon to supply enough protection to stay safe from an attack.

Let’s say a 6 foot 5 inch tall man decides to get physically aggressive with a 5 foot 2 inch tall woman. That woman would be in danger. Self-defense class may have taught her a few choice spots to hit the perpetrator, but even then that may not be enough.

Almost Half of New Gun Owners are Women, Harvard Study Finds

Deborah Azrael of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Matthew Miller of Northeastern University created the 2021 National Firearms Survey. The survey polls 19,000 adults across the country. Azreal describes it as one of the largest nationally representative, population-based surveys about gun purchasing ever conducted.

They found that around 3.5 million women became new gun owners between January 2019 and April of 2021. During the same period of time, about 4 million men became gun owners.

“The gun industry tried for decades to sell firearms to women with little success. Much of its strategy was known in the industry as ‘shrink it and pink it’ — producing smaller handguns in brighter colors. Now, the industry is designing handguns that are easier for people with smaller hands to manipulate.

The Plague You Should Be Freaking Out About Is Government Abuse Of Power

Two years on, the crackdown on legitimate civil protests showcases what western governments will do to suppress critics of their Covid police state.

For anyone still naïve, stubborn, or fanatical enough to believe the Covid tyranny we’ve been suffocating under for the past two years is about a virus, let the events unfolding in Canada disabuse you of that illusion.

Invoking the Emergencies Act to freeze bank accounts, conduct mass arrests of peaceful demonstrators and protest organizers, target reporters and photographers, and establish “red zones” and checkpoints, all in response to a mobilized citizenry that is weary of ineffective, illiberal, and discriminatory Covid restrictions — this all smacks of dictatorship, not democracy. It certainly has nothing to do with public health.

Justin Trudeau’s Abusive Relationship With Anglophone Canada

How often it is that media report on abusive relationships occurring within society. Cases of physical abuse, psychological abuse, as well as abuse of a sexual nature have been front-and centre within media for decades.

Other forms, not so much. One in particular has nagged at Cultural Action Party for a number of years. Here we are speaking of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s abuse of specific communities within Canada’s pluralist society.
