MZTV 953: Alan Hess is Anathema Don't Shoot the Messenger

In Galatians chapter 1, Paul describes anyone bringing a gospel other than the one Paul and his companions brought to the saints as anathema. Anathema means "devoted to destruction."

Paul did not get his gospel from Peter. Paul's gospel is NOT the gospel that came to Israel. It's a separate and distinct message having nothing to do with law, conditional salvation, or baptism. Anyone erasing these distinctions is devoted to destruction because a mixed message, itself, is destructive. It is a distortion of the gospel of grace.

Without the proper walls around Paul's gospel, law can easily slip in and remove body of Christ saints from the assurance and satisfaction of grace. True defenders of salvation by faith alone through the cross of Christ Jesus will not allow this to happen.
