Anita Baker and the Average White Band join up for today's Segue City Special as the Mayor is at the helm even if he is in Shangri-La or Timbuktu or wherever it is that he's parked right now. Apparently it's quiet and peaceful there except for all the noise the frogs make there at night but you can't get a Cuban sandwich there so there's points taken off for that... We've given up trying to figure out what he's up to so we just let him flow with his segues....

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
