An Occupational Health and Safety investigation is underway at Melcor Centre following reports of black mould due to alleged repeated flooding (including two this week). The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees says it's become a health hazard to its more than 200 employees who work in the building. Melcor Developments on the other hand says they're only aware of two floods (one in 2020 and the other this week), and that the floods are the fault of the tenant. BCN’s Jeannette Rocher has been following the story since 2020 and joins Hal Roberts in the studio to discuss.
