Just based on its general description, it would be easy to dismiss this flower child space opera as a boring, heavy-handed environmental lecture—and these days, who wants that? Haven’t we all had enough of the woke? However, that is NOT what this movie is at all! Indeed, quite the opposite. Academy Award nominee Bruce Durn delivers a chilling performance as a sociopathic astronaut driven to murdering his entire crew to protect his prized green houses on the outer edges of our solar system. A dark sci-fi thriller in the traditions of Alfred Hitchcock and The Outer Limits, this film is a surprisingly compelling visual masterpiece and cautionary character study of a man whose ideology goes way too far.
