How Much England Will Win When They Win The Euro 2020!

Living in the UK, you have to come to terms that Football, you know the real football, the one where you use your foot for most of the game, Is a big part of British culture. Therefore when the country embarks on a national competition, it's a perfect time for the whole nation to come together and support the country.

Just think back to when the Olympics came to the UK, with national pride at stake, and all the country cheering on Team GB to Gold everything became a little bit more important. And it was amazing to see Great Britain at one of the greatest nation-defining moments in its history. The Union Jack was flown proudly in all corners of the country and everyone felt a little bit closer to each other.

But that brought us to another issue. Britain has 4 home nations (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) with separate football teams that compete against each other in international competition every year. In this case, it is in the European Championship where you can also see this phenomenon happening again.

This time, however, the tournament is not quite how we would expect, as rather than having a host nation, all the matches will be taking place across 11 countries and venues. And thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament was actually forced to be postponed from last year, interrupting the regular 4-year interval between each tournament. This is also why you will see Euro 2020 plastered everywhere because all the preparation was done last year, so the UEFA didn't want to waste more money redesigning everything for 2021.

24 teams are playing across 51 matches within the 11 host cities over the next month. And the World Cup champions from 2018, France, are the favorites of winning. With the usual favorites not being too far behind, like England, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Germany, and Spain.
