A favorite for it's composer, "Reliable Few" is a standard march until the quiet final strain in which there is a Clarinet obbligato which took it's inspiration from John Philip Sousa's "The Stars and Stripes Forever". On the loud final strain, almost all Woodwinds have the obbligato while Low Brass receive a final strain melody which also takes inspiration from Sousa's aforementioned march.
