葉酸攝取不足 健忘疲勞易怒

葉酸可保護胎兒的神經胞發育,減少先天異常或缺陷的可能,是懷孕的女性或懷孕初期的女性必須補充的營養素,然而台灣營養師翁詩雲表示:葉酸是細胞生長的必備營養物質,對於一般人來說也同樣重要,當體內葉酸含量不足可能容易出現健忘、疲勞虛弱、暈眩貧血、憂鬱易怒等症狀。
葉酸屬於維生素B群的其中一種為製造紅血球不可缺的物質,也是合成DNA和RNA的必需品,可防止DNA受損,及DNA複製錯誤,另外葉酸也協助身體中蛋白質及胺基酸的利用。然而人體無法自行製作葉酸,無法儲存於體內,需要透過每日的飲食或是營養品來補充。
據台灣膳食營養素參考攝取量顯示:成人葉酸建議量每日為400mg,懷孕期建議增加為600mg;哺乳期則建議增加500mg。一般蔬菜中均含有葉酸,又以深綠色蔬菜含量較高,如韭菜花、菠菜、花椰菜、芥藍菜、萵苣等都是富含葉酸的優質來源,水果類如木瓜、芭樂、草莓、芒果等也富含葉酸,但因水果甜度較高需注意攝取量,此外肝臟類、黃豆及其製品未精緻的小麥胚芽、糙米、薏仁、黎麥也富含豐富葉酸。
營養師翁詩雲提醒:因葉酸怕光、怕熱,所以攝取高葉酸食物同時,需注意避免過度加熱烹調而破壞葉酸。另外因葉酸為水溶性維生素,如飲用咖啡或茶飲等利尿飲品,也容易刺激葉酸隨水分代謝至體外。
