California Crazy: Lawns limited 1x a week Watering Due to Drought | Desalination Plant May Be Denied

Over 6 million of the 40 million Californian residents will be affected by this water limit announced in the last couple days. Southern Californian lawns will be somehow have to survive on only one watering a week. So, do you think lawn owners will use less or more water? Will their lawns survive?

I don't have a lawn and I love no longer having to do the weekly mowing, but for those that do in this part of the country it's a huge investment. Right or wrong, the government is setting millions up for losing that investment.

At the same time, a report came out urging the permitting of a new desalination plant to be denied. The plant could turn more than 50 millions of ocean water into drinking water PER DAY!
