Intro:
Babylon is the SECOND most frequently mentioned city in the Bible. In the NKJV Bible is appears 287 times in 253 verses.
This city is synonymous with: pagan, humanistic, unholy, and rebellious against God.
For 2,000 years her scribes and priests shared and multiplied their arts of divination, astronomy, astrology, and accounting.
The entire Babylonian model began with the Tower of Babel. It is believed that Nimrod was its founder (Genesis 11).

The Rebirth of Babylon
When the Anti-Christ assumes power of the world, he will set up His government in three key locations:

1. Rome Will Be His Political Base (Revelation 17)
2. Jerusalem Will Be His Religious Control Center - 2 Thessalonians 2:4
3. Babylon Will Be His Financial/ Commerical Center (Revelation 18)
The influence of this Babylon system - this commercial system that is also a worship of Antichrist, that is run by demons, that is satanic and hellish – their influence is worldwide.

Q. Why Is Babylon Destroyed In The End Times?

1. Her Iniquity

She is the world center for demonic occultism.
She will have a vast web of demonic activity that will reach world wide.

2. Her Influence
Revelation 18:3
She will become the world crime center. She will become the center of enlightenment, openness, and tolerance.
She will control all vice traffic.
Her influence in the tribulation period will dominate political, cultural, and economic life.

3. Her Infidelity

4. Her Insolence (rude and disrespectful behavior.)

Her pride will take her down like the Titanic

5. Her Inhumanity

She will become the worldwide hub of human and sex trafficking
She will execute God’s prophets and people
