The Rewards of the Judgement Seat of Christ

What Crowns Will Be Given:

The Victor’s Crown: 1 Corinthians 9:25-27

The Symbolism of the Reward
The olympic games were held in Corinth. All of the athletes would train and compete in the games to receive a crown.

The Substance of the Reward
1. self-control 2. self-discipline 3. self-sacrifice

Point: Self control IS Being Spirit controlled
Titus 2:11-14

The Crown of Rejoicing: 1 Thessalonians 2:19

This crown is for people who passionately lead others to Christ.

Acts 17 gives the background to this passage.

Paul was able to lead many Greeks and Jews to Christ. He says that they are his crown of rejoicing. Some people call this the “soul winners crown.”

This is for people who actively live to bring other people to Christ. Not just people who close a deal, but people who God uses along the way.

1 Corthinthians 3:5-6

The Crown of Righteousness: 2 Timothy 4:8

This crown is for people who long and look for Jesus’’ return.

Anticipation has incredible healing powers. Anticipation bring hope! Why do you think humanists and atheist are so miserable. No Hope, just doom and gloom.

The Crown of Life: James 1:12

Revelation 2:10

This crown are for the people who endure and triumph over temptations and trials…even to point of losing their lives.

MOTIVATED by loving Jesus. Today 100% of Christians in 21 countries around the world experience persecution for their faith. More than 215 million Christians face high levels of persecution. One in ever twelve Christians lives in an area where Christianity is illegal, forbidden, and punishable by death.

Our country is moving to controlling churches and Christians. Don’t be surprised if Bible believing believers are labeled extreme and radical.

The Crown of Glory: 1 Peter 5:1-5

This is for Christian leaders who protect and oversee the flock of Christ.

This is for anyone who lead, guide, and protect His people.

Humble leaders of God’s house.

Our Greatest Reward of All

Revelation 4:10

Genesis 15:1

God is our greatest reward! We do all these spiritual disciplines not for a crown, or even to throw the crowns at His feet, We do these disciplines to receive the Lord Himself.
