Todays build is the hand crossbow Fighter, Ranger multiclass; an uncommon marriage that generates a well rounded ranged Fighter that specializes at burning through mobs while avoiding direct melee conflict.
Probably one of the best kept secrets to the Archer build for the 5th Edition. This build relies on multiple attacks per round to increase your chances for critical hits, while combining the Hunters Mark and BattleMaster Superiorty Manuevers to enhance damage or more importantly to turn failed attack rolls into successes, we leverage a bit of the Artificer class to remove the need for carrying and managing Bolts while boosting our hit and damage modifiers further. We stir in massive amounts of the Fighter class to keep those extra attacks high as we level. It’s a simple but devastating multiclass, multitarget, damage dealing build that cannot be rivaled by other archery combinations for sheer damage per round without sacrificing incredible burst damage capability.
