The PURIFICATION Of The New Heaven and New Earth

“Burned Up” - The phase “burned up” literally means, “laid bare” or “exposed”

He will strip everything away getting back to the original elements.

The basic materials of the earth’s structure will not be eliminated but will undergo a tremendous process of disintegration.

“ God someday will purge this earth and this universe of all its sin and unrighteousness and darkness and death. It will be dissolved with fervent heat. The elements shall return to their primordial form. and the whole creation of God shall be burned with fire. It shall be cleansed and purged. Everything that was sinful shall be taken out of it. Then shall come to pass this ultimate and final revelation described in the 21st chapter of Revelation. Out if a purged mass of God’s creative work, He will reshape, He will remake, He will re-create all of the heavens and this earth. There will be no more destruction of what God has made. It is RENEWAL. It is Renaissance, It is a Regeneration. It is Re-Creation.” W. A. Criswell

“New”

Revelation 21:5

Greek word, “neos” something from nothing, in terms of time.

Here John uses the greek word, “kainos” it give the understanding of quality. This is not utter destruction, but an utter transformation.

“Pass Away”

This word does not mean, “cease to exist” but to “change form, to pass from one state into another.”

This is the same idea when a loved one passes away, they do not cease to exist, but pass to another state.

The PRINCIPLES Of The New Heaven and New Earth

The Removal of the Sea

The oceans and seas cover 71% of all the earth’s surface.
They also hold 96% of all the earth’s water.

The new earth will not be giant wastelands of salt.

The new earth will have freshwater where the ecosystems will thrive and flourish.

Before you doubt God, just look at what He has done with an earth that is corrupted and tainted by sin and death.

The Reversal of the Curse

The curse is everything wrong with our world and culture.

Living things break down and fail.

Paradise lost become Paradise regained.

The Restoration of All Things

“Heaven is God’s home. Earth is our home. Jesus Christ, the God-man is the link between heaven and earth.

Ephesians 1:10

God’s plan for the end is: there will be no more divide between heaven and earth. No more is there a divide between the physical and spiritual.

The PRISTINE Holy City (New Jerusalem)

Revelation 21: 10

The Gates of Pearl: A solid pearl, why perhaps a pearl? a pearl is made from a tiny animal that is wounded, without the wound, there would never be a pearl. When we walk through the gates we will be reminded that is because of Jesus’ wounds we have access.

The Foundations of Precious Stones: All of the stones listed are colors of the rainbow.

The Streets of Gold: Gold so pure, it is transparent, almost like a mirror.

The Lamb Who Is Light: Revelation 21, 22

There is no light because he is the light.

No shadows because his light will be all around.

The Tree of Life: Revelation 22:1-2

Healing in the Greek is “therapeia” it is where we get, therapeutic or therapy. Eating the leaves will somehow give us a great sense of our lives and presence in heaven.

The River of Life: This river is mention in Psalm 46:4, 4There is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.
The PERMANENT Words Of Jesus

Revelation 22:10-21

The issue is not how great your sin is, the issue is who washed your robe. Are you saved? Do you belong to Jesus?
