Back story: Israel was preparing for WAR -

Israel was at the middle point where slavery was behind them and promise was before them.

Israel was either going to move forward with faith or backward with fear.

1. The Stage Was Being Set For Victory

A New Victory Was About To Be Claimed

2. The Shame And Their Past Was Cut Away
Joshua 1:2-9

A New Commitment Was About To Be Made

3. The Supply Of Food Was A NEW Crop
Joshua 5:10-12

You no longer need to eat like a slave or a pilgrim, you are going eat like owners!

A New Beginning Was About To Take Place, Something MUST Take Place First…

Joshua 5:13-15

Q. Who Is This Commander?
The answer is Jesus, because He received Joshua’s worship and declared that where He was was holy.

We Are Never In A Position Before The Lord To Make Demands

I am on no one's side, I am here to take over.

You can access and strategize all you want, I am the One in control.

HE, JESUS, HAS ALL THE POWER. HE CAN DO ANYTHING WANTS, WHENEVER HE WANTS.

Jesus was already there!

Stop trying to manipulate God for support

Stop trying to act and bring support to Jesus.

SURRENDER TO JESUS!

Before God Places You In A Position of Victory, You Must First Place Yourself In A Position of Surrender.
