Trigger: to cause an intense and usually negative emotional reaction in (someone)

If we allow our triggers to go unchecked they have a way of becoming so negative that we lose our sanity, our peace, our focus, and our victory.

The Purpose of the series is to help us identify the Four areas in which Satan operates to destroy our lives and keep us from being victorious.

Pride gives us an unrealistic view of ourselves

Pride isolates us from others

Pride makes us critical of others and lies to us so that we believe that we are the “only ones who get it.”

Pride puts is in direct opposition against the Lord

Author C.S. Lewis writes, “true humility is not thinking less of ourselves, but thinking of ourselves less.”

Be Honest About Areas In Your Life That You Are Prideful

Pride lets you think you are the one achieving greatness. Be in proud of an accomplishment is realizing you did not accomplish anything on your own.

Be Expressive When Declaring Gratitude To Others

A proud person is never a grateful person. They always feel like someone owes them something more.

Be A Servant Of Others

When You serve others, you do not allow your heart and mind to entertain prideful thoughts.

Be Able To Laugh At Yourself

There’s an old saying, “Blessed are they that laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be entertained.”
