The Great White Throne Judgment

Revelation 20:11-15

Here is the lie: When I die, God will weigh my righteousness against my unrighteousness and hopefully my good will outweigh my bad.

The Place Of The Judgment:

We are not told where the place of judgment will take place.
We know that there is no place in our present universe that would qualify
We know that a place will appear, beyond our universe that has not been affected by sin.

The Person of the Judgment:

John 5:22, 27, Acts 10:42

The People Before the Judgment:

All classes and all ranks of people.
From super religious to completely atheistic in practice AND belief

In ancient First-century cities, all the names of people born inside of their walls were recorded. These names were listed as citizens of that city. Any citizen who committed heinous crimes was and could be blotted out forever.

The Punishment After The Judgment

The greatest lie of our time: we live in an age where everyone has the right to live according to our own choices and decisions without consequences and repercussions. The idea of “hell” is extremely unpopular and often rejected by people and some Christians.

Fact: For every time Jesus spoke about heaven, he spoke 3 times more about hell. Hell is very real and hell is very eternal.
