French Cleats, Functional and Decorative! | Office Renovation | 2021/31

I have French Cleats in my shop. I hang everything from them, lights, toolboxes, and of course tools. But have you ever considered using them in the house as a part of the decor?

Well, I did. I have a full French cleat wall in my office now, I can hang pictures, shelves, nick-knacks or whatever from it. The natural Radiata pine on the blue wall make for an outstanding contrast and looks amazing. The system is completely versatile, and nothing is permanent, so as my tastes change so can my wall and the decor! no need to repair, patch holes, or figure out how to hang things level!
