Fear is used in different ways in the Bible. The meaning is determined by the context in which it is used. The more you surrender to fear, the more things you fear.
Deu 31:6,8 “Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be afraid of them.”

Isa 41:10, “Therefore, the Lord is the One who goes ahead of you; do not fear or be dismayed.”
