Fighting For Justice in Victoria

John Herron, unfortunately has the experience of witnessing the criminal justice system in Victoria from two different perspectives. That of a criminal lawyer and that of grieving father to Courtney, who was brutally murdered in 2019. Since then he has been fighting for change so no other parent has to endure what he and his family have. His take on these issues is one that only someone who has lived the experience he has, can have.
John talks candidly about his experience speaking at the recent 'Justice Inquiry' chaired by MP Fiona Patten, and shares his thought on the final report and recommendations made to the Victorian Government.
I learned a lot about the system that Victorians believe is keeping them safe from violent offenders during this interview. There is so much at play we as the general public have no idea about, but should absolutely be told.
