South Africa - Johannesburg - Chicken Farm raid. In response to the recent unrest in Chicken Farm Pimville Soweto and the shooting and killing of a resident here allegedly by Basotho nationals who are involved in copper cable theft and illegal connections, the Gauteng provincial commissioner Gen Mawela and the Joburg City mayor Dr Mpho Palatse joined a pre dawn raid on the informal settlement.
