Citroën holds the avant-première of Jumpy Minibus at the 2018 Entrepreneur Fair SEBRAE-SP. The new model, specific for passenger transport - and scheduled for commercial launch in the second half of May - is the second product of the brand's light utility vehicle offensive, after the arrival of the Jumpy Van in October 2017.

The New Citroën Jumpy Minibus maintains the same attributes as the van, with a focus on technology, good handling, passenger car comfort and functionality. Robust, it combines all these features with the ability to transport 11 people – driver plus ten passengers – with total safety, thanks to the new EMP2 platform and the presence of equipment such as Stability Control (ESP), Ramp Departure Assistant (Hill Assist) and three-point seat belts for all occupants.

The model also offers superior performance thanks to its latest generation 1.6 Turbo Diesel BlueHDi engine, which delivers power of 115 hp at 3,500 rpm and torque of 30 kgfm from 1,750 rpm. It works together with the six-speed manual transmission, a combination that results in the best consumption in the category. Furthermore, technologies such as the BlueHDi system, which eliminates up to 90% of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and 99.9% of particles, make the model has the lowest level of CO2 emissions in the segment.

Well equipped, the Citroën Jumpy Minibus will be sold in a single version and will feature items such as electro-hydraulic steering, air conditioning, electric windows and locks, reclining seats, on-board computer, FM/AM/MP3 radio, fog lights, among others. .

The natural vocation of Citroën's commercial vehicles is to efficiently serve different types of consumers, ranging from those in the field of civil construction to those in the service sector. The Jumpy Minibus comes especially to this second segment, which today accounts for 41% of small businesses in São Paulo alone. Data from Sebrae-SP indicate that 5% of business owners in Brazil and 4% in the state of São Paulo use vehicles to undertake. In absolute numbers, this indicates a total of 1.27 million Brazilians.

The New Jumpy Minibus is on display at Citroën's stand alongside the cargo version, launched at the end of last year. The van, which has already received several awards and is the segment leader in Europe, is beginning to build the same successful trajectory in Brazil. With queues since it arrived at dealerships, Jumpy is a sales success. Since its launch, around 450 units have been sold, and in March the number of license plates reached 137, a record so far and a sign that the model has established itself as the new reference in the market. Today, in the sales mix, the Pack version, more complete, corresponds to 80% of sales.

Citroën's space at the event also has special attractions. Visitors who want to see the use of Jumpy on a daily basis will be able to follow the routine of a delivery person without leaving the fair. With virtual reality glasses, they are embedded in a simulation environment that provides a unique product experience.
