Using the cold frame to extend seasons is a critical part of gardening. It does take some nerve to sow seed in snowy winter conditions.
Here we open the cold frame for the first time since the snow fall and 30-48 hrs of below freezing temperatures.
Great results from winter sowings of turnip and radish.
