Winter Gardening: Perennial Care 🌶What I’m planting 🌶 Almanac Zone 7

What am I planting now? This Winter Gardening season we are using the almanac and moon phase to schedule the task. What do you do on non planting days?

We use this time to fertilize perennial beds, blueberries, blackberries, other fruiting canes. We also feed the fruit and nut trees. This time of year is clearing new areas, refining older areas, feeding growing zones, pruning, compost collection and spreading....when is the best time?

Learning how my land works with the moon phases related to ground and air temperatures, moisture and humidity. What will truly grow best in this Arkansans micro climate in zone 7 or zone 8 ? We are on the boundary set beside a creek in deep woods.

We utilize #naturalgardening practices which include agroforestry, and permaculture principles. Limiting the inputs over time to be complete off grid out of system inputs for sustainable growth and food production.
