Winter Gardening: Planning seed starts, and planting root crops.

Winter gardening is a great time to clean up beds, prep expansion areas, and growing indoors.

We use the almanac to start our seeds, and transplant using the moon phase to work with the plants.

Cold frames are a great way to extend the season here or beat the frost. But due to the wild temperature swings of Central Arkansas weather a close eye must be kept to work in this season.

Enjoy the seedling update, views of the chickens, and the first cold frame sowing of the season.
