MSNBC & ABC ‘Blue Anons’ Peddle Conspiracies That Musk Wants Women & Jews Abused On Twitter [VIDEO]

It is already well known that Elon Musk has succeeded in securing a deal to acquire Twitter, the news of which has put leftists in a panic.

In a recent report from Infowars, more of said fanatical drivel from the Left has come in the form of conspiracy theories from personalities on MSNBC and ABC, where some of their respective hosts have asserted that Musk is only purchasing Twitter to enable online abuse of women, Jews, and to see a return to apartheid.

Among the more radical conspiracies regarding Musk’s intentions behind buying Twitter came from MSNBC host Joy Reid, who, between her show and posts on Twitter, claimed that Musk “misses the old South Africa in the 80s. He wants that back,” as well as a means to foment hostility toward women and Jews.

Reid asserted that free speech advocates like Musk simply want to gain control of Twitter so that they can “come in and be able to punch people in the face and walk around and laugh about it and then not have anyone be able to stop them.”

The MSNBC host spoke of what Twitter was like when restrictions on speech weren’t as tight on the platform, remarking how users at one point “attacked women. You know, the misogyny was crazy on Twitter for a while,” while alluding to that sort of behavior being one of the key motivators in Musk’s decision to buy the company.

In the days prior to the Twitter acquisition being announced, Reid alleged on the platform that Musk “doesn’t care about ‘free speech,’” and merely wants to use the platform to release “the trolls, nazis & MAGAnuts from Gab and Gettr isolation because they can only be entertained by harassing normal people here.”

Meanwhile, the women from ABC’s The View also shared their unwanted two cents on the Musk takeover, with co-host Sunny Hostin delivering her own conspiracy theory on the eccentric billionaire’s intentions behind obtaining the social media platform. In Hostin’s unsubstantiated speculation, she alleged that Musk is trying to craft an online platform that will only provide free speech to “straight white men.”

“I think people are excited because [Musk] is sort of going to unleash the trolls, right? I think he is saying, ‘You get to say whatever you want, I’m going to take away the guardrails.’ And for me, that is something that is a bit scary, and I think it’s going to be scary to a lot of women because there have been some surveys done and 38% of women around the world have said that they’ve been on the receiving end of a lot of abuse on Twitter – 85% of women have said that they’ve seen the abuse.

And what’s interesting to me about Twitter is only 22% of adults are on Twitter in the world, and that’s from a 2019 Pew study. So, Twitter is not the real world, and in fact, on Twitter it is predominantly straight white men. So, when Elon Musk says, ‘Wow, this is about free speech,’ it seems to me it’s about free speech of straight white men.”

Again, these claims coming from individuals like Reid and Hostin regarding Musk’s intentions behind purchasing Twitter are completely unsubstantiated – as he’s been quite forward in that he wants the platform to live up to being the digital town square it can be by simply fostering an environment of more robust and free speech.
