US Marine Detained After Anti-Government Facebook Posts

United States Marine Corps Sergeant Brandon J. Raub, 26, was detained by the FBI and local authorities for posting what is being considered violent comments on the social media website Facebook.

Although Raub was detained and forced to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, he was not charged with any criminal misconduct.

John W. Whitehead, a constitutional attorney with The Rutherford Institute representing Raub, explains how the United States government violated his client's first amendment rights.

A civil lawsuit over wrongful arrest has been filed.
