Growing beet root from seed, either direct sowing or indoor sowing for future transplant, is not difficult.

In this episode, I share tips, hacks, and methods to start beets for your home garden. We sow beets in the cold frame in January,and direct sown in late February here in zone 7/8.

Beet growth is from sprout to seedling to mature ready to harvest beet root in 55-70 days depending on climate and conditions.
