About The Beast(2014)

This is the oldest track that made it onto the "Strait From Tha Underground EP". I recorded it around August - September of 2012 when I was 14 & originally I was trying to do a "full" version of "Mad Skilz", like a 10 song version, & after I recorded this track, I decided to add it to the tracklist. It was mainly recorded at a Church know as "Cornorstone Church" as that I went too every Thursday night & I had become popular around Church for my rapping skillz & I think my Mad Skillz CD & the main Church leader Andy Benton wanted to do a Christian song & eventually a Christian EP. He took me into a room where he had a Macbook & Microphone set up & I showed him the lyrics of this song that I been writing all summer during the recording of "Mad Skillz" & he liked them. I soon started recording the song, & Andy built the beat & Andy Benton soon got his brother Scott Benton in there with me & he & Andy redid the beat & I redid the first verse & kept recording my other verses each week from there. Finally in September of 2012, the track was finished & sent to me & I added it to the tracklist of what was going to be the full version of "Mad Skillz" (Originally, the version of Mad Skillz I released was the DEMO version). But then right before I had all the tracks I wanted for the full version, CPS showed up to my door on December 1st 2012, my brothers where tooken, but I ran away, & then later returned & entered the Foster Care System the next day. This marked the end of the full version of Mad Skillz ever being finished & with in a few weeks, I had came up with the idea of a totally new album called "Strait From Tha Underground" & started writing material for it. When I finally left of Foster Care & went back to my home on June 12th, 2013, I started recording the material for the Strait From Tha Underground CD I had written, & started writing & freestlying more material for the album & in the recording process, along with coming up with tons of new material, I decided to add this song "About Tha Beast" to the tracklist of the album.
