Gruntruck is an American rock band formed in 1989 in Seattle, Washington, by vocalist Ben McMillan and drummer Norman Scott, both previously from early Seattle sound pioneers Skin Yard. While in Skin Yard, Norman also briefly joined Soundgarden, and collaborated with Chris Cornell on a lesser-known band, the low frequency power trio Bass Truck.

Tribe is a great song. It's power, and lyrics impact you. Mainstream radio, other than the Pacific Northwest didn't play Gruntruck as much as the aforementioned. Being coined, "The Poor Man's Pearl Jam" hampered their success. Gruntruck is still, to this day, a band loved by many, but heard by less. Therefore, I give you...Gruntruck.
