Several of my buddies and I got together to fly a local balloon festival. Also, I share an acronym that I use to quickly remember the rules that the FAA want requires me to follow when flying my paramotor. I hope you enjoy the video!

Also, I share the acronym I made to help me remember FAA Part 103 as it pertains to paramotoring but there are exceptions to some of them. These laws pertain to flying in the United States only so if you live outside of the U.S. please check with the regulatory agency for your country.

The acronym is A-C-R-O-B-A-T-I-C-S
A-irspace - Fly only in Class G and non-surface Class E airspace
C-ongested - No flying over congested areas.
R-estricted - No flying in restricted areas or as denoted by NOTAM
O-thers - No flying over other people
B-elow - The ground below should always be visible in flight
A-ircraft - Aircraft stall speed under 24 kts., dry weight under 254 lbs., and 5 gal. or less of fuel
T-ime - Flying time is sunrise to sunset (extra 30 minutes with strobe).
I-nterference - Can't interfere with other aircraft, they have the right-of-way.
C-onditions - Conditions should be 3sm visibility and stay 500’ below, 1,000’ above, and 2,000’ horizontally from clouds (lower minimums are exist but I use the highest ones.
S-afety - Can’t do anything effecting the safety of people and property.

Just remember that this isn’t a replacement for reading the real deal!
