First Ladies Exposed: Reading From the Same Script

THE GOSPEL MESSAGE:

1). You are a lost sinner in need of a personal Savior. (Rom. 3:23; Eph. 2:3)
2). You cannot save yourself by doing good works. (Eph. 2:8-9; Tit. 3:5)
3). Christ died for your sins, was buried, and resurrected. (1 Cor. 15:3-4; 1 Pet. 2:24)

RESPONSE TO THE GOSPEL:

1). Repent: have the desire to forsake your sins and to follow Christ. (Luke 13:5; Acts 3:26)
2). Call out to God by telling Him that you repent and believe the gospel. (Rom. 10:10, 10:13)
3). Get water baptized in obedience to the gospel message. (Acts 2:40; 1 Pet. 3:21)

NOW THAT YOU HAVE BELIEVED:

1). Stop practicing sin to show that your conversion was genuine. (Acts 26:20; Jas. 2:14-26)
2). Study the Bible daily so that you can grow in knowledge of the Lord. (Col. 3:16; 2 Tim. 2:15)
3). Continue to follow Christ so that you will not be cut off from Christ. (John 15:6; Rom. 11:20-22)
