After more than 20 years, the International Space Station is getting new solar arrays

Shane Kimbrough of NASA and Thomas Pesquet of the European Space Agency will venture into the vacuum of space for the 74th US spacewalk. They will Install the First IROSA Solar Array on the P6 Truss for the 2B Channel Power System. The walk is expected to take about 6.5 hours to install and deploy two roll-out solar arrays on the space station.
