Video | Like many animals, elephants have a preference between right and left, most readily identifiable by the visible wear and tear seen on the tusk they predominantly favor. It turns out that appendage preference, known as handedness, is common across a wide spectrum of animals. Unlike humans, however, where roughly 85 percent are right-handed, the percentage for most animals is closer to 50-50. See if you can tell from the video which side this elephant, filmed in South Africa, favors.
