Strenuous Exercise

We all do have that desire to make the right choice the first time. Does it work at that way? Only if we connect to God and not go off impulsively in our own fleshly bright ideas. Sometimes there are so many variables to the decisions we need to make. At times we just walk by faith. Not being able to see what is ahead, but knowing that God has something in play, because we are at a crossroad and need to make a decision. I think the hardest moments of life are when we are at a crossroad and don’t know whether to go left or right. There are decisions to make every single day and a lot of them we don’t have a direction for, we feel confused about them. Some decisions seem natural because they are good choices, yet sometimes doing something good that God has not put on your plate can become a disastrous choice. The best decision if we don’t know what to do is to wait. The key is asking God for the answer, trusting Him and waiting until He answers. This takes some strong patient endurance, but always ends well when we wait on God and go in followship of Him. No that is self-control driven faith. Denying ourselves, this takes an increase in our faith to wait until we hear something definite. Saying no to our impulsive flesh, our faith can be tested as we wait on God. Trust is definitely strenuously exercised when knowing God has the perfect timing, the perfect solution, and the perfect outcome, we wait. Exercising our faith always leaves us with a heavenly hindsight of increased faith, tested belief, and satisfied trust. Waiting doesn’t seem so bad when we think of it that way. So, if you find yourself needing to make a decision and you are at a crossroad in life, ask God, wait patiently in belief, trust and faith. God will come through for you in ways you could not even begin to imagine or hope for and He will say: This is the way, walk in it, and as you do, His perfect will comes into play, purposefully so.
