National Poetry Month Reading - Day 26

For National Poetry Month, day 26 falls on Roger Taylor's birthday (drummer for Duran Duran). That means obsessed fan and author Sandy Lender has to regale you with a Duran-centric verse this evening.

From the latest DD album, FuturePast, released October 2021, the lyric for "Wing" represents some of Simon's great poetic style...it's fabulous. The album is great and I recommend everyone get a copy in some format or another. Also: the band has a handful of UK and U.S. concert dates this summer and fall where you can hear these masterpieces live.
